I bought this light polar fleece jacket in a department store in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1993. My adult children say I shouldn’t wear it, but they say it’s cool, just not when I wear it! The irony makes me smile!

So I mailed off a package on 10/22/25 that was being sent from the US to the UK. On 10/28, I decided to check tracking and to my surprise, the latest update was customer dropped off package at ups store. A little concerned, I headed straight to the location and explained the situation. They assured me that the package was picked up by a carrier and tracking should update soon. Hello lovely people. My fiancé and I are planning our wedding (Summer 2027!), and are hoping to keep things on the cheaper end so we can save more for our honeymoon. Are there any wedding dress shops / nice boutiques that carry off-the-rack dresses or formal dresses that won’t break the bank? My ideal budget would be around $600 for the dress. I know a lot of department stores like Dillards have lovely dresses, but I feel I’ve exhausted looking at those options. If the shop carries girl’s dresses too, that’d be great! I have a daughter who will be 1 1/2 years of age at that time. Any alteration spots would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance!

I’m 1 year living here from NC. Never ever saw pet dogs in grocery stores there. It’s crazy to me how no store management or health official ever does anything about it. I’ve seen dogs tussling in crowded aisles, fur floating around the produce department, and had oblivious shoppers let their dog try to cozy up to me in line, only to make bitchy face when I tell them to keep their dog off me. It’s wild.

So a bit of background here: After working at a tire warehouse for 2.5 years, my day shift department was effectively eliminated. I was left with the choice of going to night shift or losing my job. I gave night shift a try. Fast forward to recent months, night shift was getting worse so I was searching for another job.
