Out of curiosity, what happens to returned merchandise? If in good condition, is it simply put back into the warehouse and sold as new? Or, does this pose reputational damage in case a customer receives a “used” item? I’ve heard there’s an employee store that may receive returned goods, but I was curious if these are also offloaded to outlets or third party sellers who may resell at a discount. My store has a TON of sas items still left. Literally all of the zodiac scents are still available as well as tons of other limited edition scents, lotions, and $7.99 candles. So I started at walmart in december of 2025, I haven't asked for any time off up until the other day I requested a date off for unpaid time off because of a family event, its been pending for a couple days so today i asked my coach about it. She told me unpaid time off is not allowed in our store.
