I JUST started as a shopper on Instacart. But one thing I’ve already noticed is the mileage Instacart advertises on orders. It’ll say 5 miles for X amount of pay (from the store to the delivery address) but then when I click on the location for the store, it’s an additional 5+ miles away from where I am, so really the order is 10+ miles, and then the pay they’re offering isn’t worth it at all. I know it's not much. But it’s all my mom could spare me. It’s been months since I’ve had an actual job and I’m really trying to find something new. They always tell me how much they love me as a candidate at the interviews but I NEVER actually get a call back. I’m also looking into donating plasma just to get by( Ive never done it before).
