I only ever buy a fish fillet and medium/large fries at Mcdonalds. I am lucky that there is almost always a coupon for either free fries with a purchase, so my meal comes out to $4-6 each time (depending on the store location). This is always cheaper than the pre-made fish fillet meal. For me, this is an 800 calorie meal that actually keeps me full for hours, so it is still a good deal.
